Alerid 10mg Tablet (Cetirizine)

This tablet is utilized for Running nose,Eczema,Sneezing, Allergy symptoms, Skin allergies, Cold, Allergic symptoms, Itching, Allergies of the skin, Skin allergic reactions and other conditions. This tablet may also be used for other purposes which are not listed in this medication guide. This tablet is the composition of Cetirizine as an active ingredient. This tablet works by blocking histamine that is produced during an allergic rejection. Cipla manufactures this tablet.

Allergy symptoms

Alerid 10mg pill is an antihistaminic medicine. It treats allergy symptoms such as such itching, rashes and swelling by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.

Use this medication in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not crush, chew or break it. This medication should be taken with or without a meal, but it is better to use it at a fixed time.

Missed Dose

Take the forgot dose as quickly as you remember If you miss a dose of Alerid 10mg. Skip the forgot dose If it’s almost time for your next scheduled dose, Do not double your dose to cover up for the forgot dose.

OverDose

Contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately if an overdose is suspected. Symptoms of overdose may include restlessness, confusion, dizziness. Supportive measures as gastric lavage might be initiated form on the severity of symptoms.

Alcohol: this medication is not suggested for people who consume alcohol on a regular basis. Alcohol uptake should be minimal while taking this medicine.

Other Medicines: the generic drug of Cetirizine can cause additional sleepiness and impaired thinking when taken with tablets that are sedatives or tranquilizers. Counsel your doctor or pharmacist before taking these medicines together.

The drug can be used along with paracetamol, aspirin, ibuprofen or prednisone. However, taking Benadryl and Dayquil along with cetirizine can increase the drowsiness. Can I take cetirizine with loratadine /diphenhydramine /brompheniramine /fexofenadine?
